These gate segments are core sealing components specially designed for API 6A wellhead expanding gate valves. Consisting of two split half-plate segments, they expand outward tightly against valve seats under mechanical force to achieve reliable high-pressure sealing, and retract to reduce friction during valve opening and closing.
Substrate material adopts 42CrMo alloy steel; sealing surfaces are overlaid with Stellite alloy or coated with tungsten carbide via JP8000 HVOF thermal spraying. Featuring excellent wear resistance, erosion resistance, H2S corrosion resistance and high pressure bearing capacity, they are widely applied in onshore & offshore oil and gas well service. We supply interchangeable replacement spare parts for Cameron, WKM expanding gate valves, and accept customized dimensions per client drawings.

Expanding gate segments are core sealing trim parts for API 6A wellhead expanding gate valves. Adopting a two-piece split expandable structure, the gate segments expand outward tightly against the valve seat during closing to achieve zero-leakage bidirectional sealing. While opening, the segments retract inward to avoid friction and scratching the sealing surface, greatly reducing wear and extending valve service life.

Our gate segments are manufactured with high-strength alloy steel and premium hardfacing treatments including Stellite overlay and tungsten carbide HVOF coating. Suitable for high pressure, sour service, sand erosion and harsh offshore & onshore oilfield working conditions. Fully interchangeable with WKM and Cameron original expanding gate valve parts.
